Julie grew up in Hubertus, WI and currently resides in Jackson, WI. She graduated from Waukesha County Technical College where she earned her Associate Degree in Retail Marketing. During college she was very active in DECA. She competed and placed at the State and National Collegiate level. She started work at Unisource Insurance in 1991 and is licensed to write Property, Casualty, Life and Health business. In 2006 she earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation. May 2010 was named in Milwaukee Magazine in the Area of Home/Auto Insurance, scoring highest in overall satisfaction of Insurance Professionals.
She has been married since 1988 to William Bartelt Jr. and has two kids, one who works for an Affiliate of Unisource. In her free time she enjoys volunteering at her church, Festa Italiana, Taste of Italy and serves on the Board of her Condo Association. She has numerous hobbies; reading, playing piano, golfing, walking, home improvement projects and trying new things. She loves animals and spending time with family and friends. A motto she lives by is: “Be the Reason Someone Smiles today.”
