Andrea Nelson is the President and Owner of Unisource Insurance Associates, where she leads a dedicated team of twenty-five insurance professionals.
Andrea started at Unisource in 2011. She had the best business mentor ever: her father, Paul Brunner, who is the agency founder. She is ecstatic to be the perpetuation plan and determined to carry on the hardworking, family values of the agency.
With a strong foundation in the industry, Andrea began her career on the carrier side after earning her Bachelor of Arts from St. Norbert College. Her leadership, strategic vision, and commitment to client service guided her to purchase Unisource Insurance, transforming it into a dynamic, client-focused agency.
Andrea enjoys early morning workouts, book club and spending time traveling with her husband and their three children. Her eldest daughter is on the autism spectrum and has taught her much about love and acceptance.
In addition to her role at Unisource, Andrea is actively involved in advancing the insurance industry and supporting her community. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Independent Insurance Agents of Wisconsin (IIAW) and the Board of Directors for Autism United of Wisconsin, reflecting her commitment to both professional excellence and meaningful community engagement.
